Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience Unit at St. Mary's Health Care System. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with neurological disorders. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient care
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
  • Successful completion of a refresher course if nursing practice has not occurred within the past 5 years
  • Prior experience in neuroscience nursing is preferred, but new graduates are considered
