Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, equipment, and products between company facilities, customer locations, and job sites. This role also includes warehouse duties such as loading/unloading shipments, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks requiring a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), to deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Load and Unload Materials: Load and unload materials from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products in the warehouse.
  • Ensure Accuracy in Shipment Orders: Ensure accuracy in shipment orders and delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain a Clean Warehouse Environment: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Perform General Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse duties as needed, such as order picking, packing, and staging materials for shipment.
Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or driving role preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations: Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to Operate Warehouse Equipment: Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to Lift Heavy Objects: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently.
