Mechanical Engineer Co-op Position

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at Kimberly-Clark, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical training in an industrial environment or working as an integral part of a project team during planning, installation, documentation, and start-up of an ongoing project. Our co-ops develop a broad understanding of mechanical engineering practices necessary to support high-speed automated manufacturing processes. Opportunities exist in research offices, manufacturing facilities, and within different business groups.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed designs and development assignments. Develop knowledge and skills of engineering details. Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintain security and documentation. Assist in development of solutions and alternatives to assigned problems/opportunities. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected. Strong oral and written communication skills are imperative. Understanding of basic statistics and computer usage experience is desirable.
Requirements
Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and completion of 1-1/2 years of college courses. Students should bring an unofficial copy of their transcripts to the interview. Previous Co-op experience is a plus. Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis. Co-op/intern positions are not eligible for sponsorship and the successful candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States without KC's sponsorship now or in the future.
