About the Role

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is seeking a Process Engineer for our Converting Operation in Neenah, WI. This position is responsible for creating production process standards and communicating with production teams.

The ideal candidate will facilitate the application of Global Manufacturing Excellence principles and tools, including work instructions and procedures for safety, quality, daily direction setting, clean, inspect, lubricate, maintenance, and Center Lining. This person will also serve as a role model for safety, monitor and improve processes according to Statistical Process Control and Total Preventative Maintenance methodologies.

The Process Engineer will set and save process settings and standards, and facilitate the application of safety, quality, delivery, and RCA standards to eliminate waste and loss. We're looking for a motivated self-starter with a proven history of continuous improvement and asset optimization, who engages team leadership in small and large group facilitation. The ideal candidate will possess a technical bachelor's degree in Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related applied-sciences field, and have manufacturing experience or an internship/co-op.

What You Will Do

Support product/material development and new asset capital project implementation;
Master DDS zero loss flow chart and coach teams in the application;
Own technical gap analysis;
Facilitate the application of standards/systems in your area of responsibility;
Be ultimately responsible for continuously optimizing production processes in a sustainable way through RCA and standardization;
Train and coach operation teams to improve behaviors to defined standards and procedures.
