Job Title: Structural Steel Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Design Engineer to join our team at gpac. As a Structural Steel Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the design and analysis of structural steel components and systems for various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural steel components and systems for construction projects
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions
  • Conduct structural assessments and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs
  • Perform calculations and simulations to verify the structural integrity of designs
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer with a focus on structural engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in structural steel design and analysis
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
