Electrical Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable sizing, flow diagrams, and NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement electrical instruments and equipment.
  2. Inspect completed projects to ensure conformance with design standards.
  3. Apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  4. Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
  5. Develop and review electrical engineering plans and studies.
  6. Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  7. Work with clients, contractors, and other engineers.
  8. Ensure all electrical engineering projects meet organizational objectives.
  9. Use advanced techniques for cable sizing, creating flow diagrams, and understanding NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  3. Proficiency in cable sizing, flow diagrams, diagrams, and NFPA Articles 70, 70E, 79.
  4. Licensed PE is preferred.
  5. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
  6. Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  7. Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  8. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
  9. Creative thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
  10. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
