Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Automation Engineer to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our automation systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of our groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering expertise to support the design, installation, commissioning, validation, and operation of automation systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures for automation systems, ensuring maintenance programs are implemented and executed.
  • Manage CMMS data integrity and execute Reliability Centered Maintenance Improvements.
  • Collaborate with local and global partners to develop asset management plans, including capital requests.
  • Ensure cGMP compliance of all automation systems, including equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, and laboratory sample release test results.
  • Perform root cause analysis, own change controls, and lead investigations as the subject matter expert.
  • Develop and maintain control drawings, flow diagrams, and Standard Operational documents.
  • Perform inspections for quality assurance and initiate procedures to resolve problems.
  • Support all aspects of Johnson Controls Metasys for Validated Environments software configuration tools and Rockwell Automation Control Systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or B.S. degree in an Engineering-related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant automation/controls experience and a BS, or 2+ years of relevant experience and a MS.
  • Strong programming/design experience with Building Automation Systems and SCADA systems.
  • Experience configuring, troubleshooting, and using Windows Operating Systems, Networking, virtualization, and Databases for Control System Applications.
  • Experience with data historians, MS-SQL, and reporting tools.
  • Working knowledge of Control and Instrumentation for facility control systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
