Job Summary

Broetje-Automation is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating electrical cabinets and components under the direction of a supervisor or senior personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and fabricate electrical cabinets and components according to blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical wiring standards
  • Use hand tools and power tools to mount, assemble, and modify electrical enclosures and components
  • Document configuration changes for future assemblies
  • Perform general tasks including assembly, cleanup, disassembly, and shipment packing
  • Assist with new machine construction at customer facilities
Requirements
  • 1-3+ years of experience in an industrial electrical field
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical devices
  • Experience with panel shop and cabinet building
  • Positive attitude and dependability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fixed project deadlines
