**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Christus Health.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical settings and be licensed as a LVN in Texas. As a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with diverse needs, collaborating as part of a healthcare team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patient conditions and implement care plans directed by RNs and physicians.
  2. Administer medications to assigned patients in accordance with clinical specific standards.
  3. Participate in patient education activities as directed by the RN and/or Physician.
  4. Identify safety hazards and report them.
  5. Respond to emergencies.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing
  • Licensed as a LVN in Texas BLS Certification required
