YOUR ROLE:
As a Consumer Loan Specialist, you will deliver exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly service to our internal teams, third-party partners, and clients during the processing and finalization of consumer and home equity loans. Your responsibilities will include accurately and efficiently handling various loan applications, closing documents, and lending inquiries, ensuring all loans comply with established quality benchmarks before they are finalized.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You should be available to work 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; this position is non-exempt.

Additional requirements include:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer loan processing or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills, preferably in a financial setting.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, with a preference for Microsoft Office.
  • Solid mathematical skills and typing proficiency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work collaboratively as a dependable team member.
  • Ability to operate independently while demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
  • Maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and its requirements.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and various background checks.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
