Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $83,200 - $124,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description: As a Critical Care Nurse with Sentara Healthcare, you will work in our Critical Care Stepdown Unit - PVSU (Progressive Ventilator Stepdown Unit) at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Your key duties will include assessing and admitting patients, administering medications, and providing overall patient care while working in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and admit patients to the unit
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians
  • Provide individualized patient care based on their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in nursing, with a minimum of an Associate's degree, and a valid nursing license in the United States. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required.
