Maintaining an organized and well-stocked cafeteria area is crucial, as is understanding the time-sensitive nature of cafeteria operations.

Salad Preparation:

Your duties will include following standardized recipes to prepare salads, ensuring they meet taste and presentation standards. You will monitor portion sizes and practice safe food handling techniques consistently.

Nourishment Duties:

This role involves preparing dietary nourishments, such as mixing tube feeds and assembling supplements. You will ensure that all dietary restrictions are respected while providing optimal service to patients and caregivers.

Patient Cart Management:

You will oversee the routine functions of patient carts, ensuring timely delivery and temperature checks of food items. Your attention to detail will be vital in maintaining dietary compliance.

Grill and Fry Station:

As part of your responsibilities, you will prepare grilled and fried items in a sanitary manner, assist in various food service areas during peak times, and uphold safe food handling practices.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with some experience in food service. A food handler's permit must be obtained within the first two weeks of employment.
