Sodexo is in search of an Accountant to join the Segment Support at Schools Department within our Financial Shared Services team. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze client contractual agreements and manage master data and financial terms within SAP.
  • Support ongoing operations including cost center master data, client financial statements, billing processes, and fiscal closing activities.
  • Apply sound accounting principles and judgment to contractual documents while adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of assigned balance sheet accounts through reconciliations and detailed analyses.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to address outstanding issues.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching for accountants on company policies, procedures, and effective communication strategies.
  • Lead projects with minimal supervision while fostering the technical development of team members.
  • Maintain and manage company databases, employing advanced technical skills for comprehensive global analysis.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and adapt to evolving operational and client requirements.
  • Implement process enhancements and efficiencies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Accounting experience is essential; a degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong organizational and comprehension skills.
  • Capable of managing core responsibilities while participating in various departmental initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with SAP are required.
