Job Summary

The Staff Accountant will perform and work on assigned tasks with a minimum of assistance. You will report to the Senior Tax Staff and the Tax Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares various tax returns for federal | state returns for partnerships, C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals.
  • Responsible for tax compliance and client management, including direct client contact as directed by management.
  • Assist Manager and Partner with IRS audits Responses to tax notices, or other returns needed to achieve outstanding client service.
  • Demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and Firm standards.
  • Meet time constraints and client deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and accounting & tax software programs.
  • Accounting and financial statement preparation required.
  • Experience with Lacerte Tax Software and QuickBooks, a plus.
  • CPA Eligible or CPA Licensed.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of current taxation codes and regulations.
  • Ability to organize work and projects, prioritize and meet deadlines, and complete work efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
