The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Lead will oversee the management and coordination of design production activities, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in surveying building systems. This role involves supporting the development of designs, specifications, and system layouts for various projects.

  • Oversight of client management and design production activities
  • Coordination and verification of surveys of building systems
  • Support in developing designs, specifications, and system narratives
Responsibilities
  • Project management from start to finish with minimal assistance
  • Lead design mechanical systems including heating and cooling load calculations
  • Select and layout mechanical equipment such as pumps, chiller, fans, and boilers
  • Perform construction administration tasks including field inspections and detailed reports
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and quality control
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 3-7+ years of relevant experience in engineering design and project management
  • Proficiency in Revit and high skills in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and applicable codes
Work Environment

This role requires collaboration with Technical Leaders/Sr. Engineers to ensure quality standards and workload management. Regular attendance at project meetings and site visits is expected.

Representative tasks include site walks with clients/partners, site surveys, and other duties that may involve ladder use, access to infrastructure, or crawling/bending/reaching.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
