About the Role:

The Engineering Technician will support and assist the engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting engineering and procedural control tests to support manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshooting process and equipment technical issues, developing solutions, and partnering with engineering to implement them into production processes
  • Performing equipment preventative maintenance (PM) tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Running tests through production lines and assisting engineering with evaluation and standardization
  • Performing process control activities, such as measuring product or performing tests, to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Monitoring manufacturing output and performing failure analysis for engineering
  • Taking measurements for process control and gathering measurement data for engineering
  • Documenting new procedures and preparing reports for engineering
  • Responding to data on process control charts, maintaining material movement spreadsheets, and reporting results
  • Interpreting CAD documents and delivering training to members of the operations group
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong math, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and processes to identify outliers
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing
  • Computer and data entry skills, with experience working with MS Office Suite and the ability to generate engineering reports
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to pivot to evolving priorities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Education and Experience:

AAS in a technical field is preferred, but not required. 3+ years of manufacturing experience is required, with previous equipment maintenance experience preferred but not required.
