Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Hunter Truck is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other truck systems
  • Assist other technicians with major repairs and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins and possess the ability to work in a team environment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
  • Vocational technical school training or equivalent experience
  • Automotive experience
  • Medium and/or Heavy Duty truck experience
