Outpatient Clinic Nurse

At VHC Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising assigned personnel and ensuring that all nursing care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise assigned personnel and ensure that all nursing care is delivered in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Master's degree in Nursing required.
- One year of nursing/patient care experience in an acute care setting required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required.
- BLS certification required.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain certain certifications, including ACLS and PALS. New to practice area nurses or new graduates have 1 year to complete the specialty requirements below.
ACLS certification is required for ED, ICU, CVICU/CVSD, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Bronch Suite, Interventional Radiology, Radiology Safety Nurses, 6A, 6B, 7A, 8B, Labor and Delivery, Hemodialysis, Respiratory Therapy, Supplemental Pool Telemetry Nurses, GI Unit, and PACU.
PALS certification is required for Pediatric Nurses.
ED NRP certification is required for NICU, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery.
De-escalation training is required for BHU, ED.
