We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in supporting our medical team during interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the procedure room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Stock and restock procedure trays and supplies, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize the procedure room, equipment, and machinery after each procedure.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer to and from the procedure room.
- Act as a scrub assistant, maintaining a sterile technique during interventional procedures.
- Draw up and label medications as per company policy and state regulations.
- Perform circulating duties in the procedure room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Comply with HIPAA policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist with maintaining environmental integrity and aesthetics, ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe.
- High School Diploma required.
- Surgical Technologist Certification as required by state regulation.
- 1-2 years' related experience, with previous patient care experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of interventional equipment, procedures, and materials/supplies.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
- Successfully complete BLS certification.
