About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Massachusetts.

This is an ongoing, 36-hour per week position with a 12-hour day shift schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and maintaining surgical instrumentation and the surgical field peri-operatively.

They will also perform various related activities post-operatively in relation to room and instrument decontamination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation and the surgical field
  • Perform related activities post-operatively
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operating room experience
  • Meet the requirements of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a program in surgical technology from an approved school
  • Certification in Surgical Technology within 6 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
