Job Overview

Gecko Hospitality, a leading executive recruiting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Event Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our venue for events and achieving sales targets through new client acquisition and fostering repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Promotion and Coordination:
    • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote our venue for events.
    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of all event functions to ensure superior guest experiences.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through new client acquisition and fostering repeat business.
    • Utilize a variety of marketing techniques, including referrals, direct outreach, and community networking.
  • Team Leadership and Support:
    • Mentor and coach the Host/GSA team to enhance brand reputation and service excellence.
    • Ensure swift resolution of any operational or client-related issues.

Benefits:

  • The base salary is $45k-$50k, and the total compensation is closer to six figures through base and commission.
  • Opportunity for quarterly performance bonuses.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to support and drive the success of the operation consistently.
  • A strong sense of integrity, honesty, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Advanced understanding of restaurant P&L statements.
  • Passion for developing and mentoring team members.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in restaurant management within a high-volume environment.
