Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Oversight: Ensure the department is running efficiently and effectively, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate heat-treating equipment as needed to support production goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Language Skills: Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of experience in heat treating or a related industry, with a minimum of 5 years of furnace, torch, and induction brazing experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commonly used industry-standard brazing alloys, including copper, silver, and gold.
