Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rise Baking Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment

Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with plant equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, HVAC, and electrical installations.

Perform Preventive Maintenance

Conduct regular maintenance on all plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Building Maintenance and Repairs

Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems, including air conditioning, lighting, and forklifts.

Quality and Safety

Report any food safety or quality issues to management and ensure compliance with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A 2-year degree in electronics or maintenance mechanics, or 3+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.

Technical Skills

Working knowledge of CMMS, lockout/tagout programs, and boiler operations. Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.
