Outside Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Professional to join our team at Real Floors, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment industry in the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustain a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting and relationship-building with existing accounts and potential new customers.
  • Demonstrate products and services to customers, providing all necessary information and assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their needs.
  • Provide floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates and ensure timely delivery of sales materials.
  • Promptly address customer concerns, complaints, and problems, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Perform random job site inspections and report results to the Installation department, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized sample/showroom and sales office, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Report to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the competitive landscape, staying ahead of the market and driving business growth.

  • Highly energetic and motivated individual with a strong hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
  • Coachable and willing to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve customers and grow the business.
  • Strong individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to comfortably deal with ambiguities and achieve goals while functioning independently.
  • Positively persistent customer focus, striving to partner with customers and add value to the relationship.
  • Strong time management skills, with excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up, and follow through.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs, and/or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to conduct business using various remote tools, as needed (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is a plus, but not required.
  • Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • A clean driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites within the assigned territory are essential requirements of the job.
