Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Baxter Auto Group. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and supplies to our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place daily parts orders and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Stock and post incoming orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Assist the Parts Manager in processing weekly stock orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Verify and process credits for returned parts
  • Organize inventory in designated locations and maintain a logical and efficient storage system
  • Provide necessary information to the warranty/scrap department to facilitate prompt filing of parts warranties/scrap
  • Assist in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory
  • Support period part returns and other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
  • A team-first attitude with a strong desire to contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software
  • One year of experience in an automotive parts department is preferred
