Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Donation Center Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for accepting and sorting donations from the public, issuing receipts, and ensuring the secure storage of donations until they are picked up by our trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets and assists donors with donations upon arrival, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Processes donations according to our ADC Processing Procedures, ensuring that items are properly sorted and stored.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and cleaning the center and its surroundings.
  • Breaks down empty boxes and keeps the workspace tidy.
  • Secures the donation center at the end of the day and assists the truck driver with loading and unloading.
  • Notifies the manager of any needed supplies, truck service, or maintenance requirements.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain balance while lifting, loading, or unloading.
  • Constant public contact and ability to effectively relate to people with various disabilities, personalities, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:

Exposure to extreme weather conditions may be required.
