Private Duty Nurse LPN

At Aveanna Healthcare, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team of caregivers. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, helping them to recover from illness or injury and regain their independence.
Responsibilities:- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care for each patient
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature from Case Manager
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
