Job Title: Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a newborn patient in a low-acuity setting. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with the patient and their family to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital to home.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Communicate effectively with the patient, family, and healthcare team

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
