Position Details:

The Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality of production line machinery through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Additionally, this role includes facility maintenance and repair tasks. You will collaborate closely with the maintenance team to guarantee peak production performance and uphold a clean, well-maintained environment.


This position requires flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Shift: 4:30am - 1:30pm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous operation of production line equipment by performing repairs, resolving jams, and making adjustments. Rotate between multiple lines to maintain a balanced presence.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests on production lines.
  • Conduct preventative, planned, and emergency maintenance on production lines and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in daily production code changes as required.
  • Ensure all machinery is properly safeguarded.
  • Support machine changeovers (webs, labelers, closures, etc.) in coordination with mixing and production schedules.
  • Operate air compressors and perform necessary maintenance.
  • Complete required documentation in English, including repair logs and work/part requests.
  • Adhere to all safety and GMP regulations.
  • Implement LO/TO procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Assist in training new maintenance staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering on installations and upgrades.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
  • 1+ years of HVAC experience is required.
  • EPA/HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime and irregular hours, including weekends and nights, as needed.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 35lbs and up to 50lbs.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills, including proficiency with formulas, conversions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
