Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Personnel Services. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for coordinating the cutting, identifying, and ordering of foam samples, as well as preparing samples for testing and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the cutting, identifying, and ordering of foam samples
- Prepare samples for testing in accordance with Quality Management System procedures
- Maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and quality product performance measurements
- Perform tests on foam products to ensure compliance with established procedures
- Report test results and any failures to the Quality Manager
- Ensure the laboratory is run efficiently and effectively, with a focus on health and safety
- Prepare and maintain routine lab reports within designated time frames
- Update SAP databases as required for the laboratory
- Implement and maintain SS standards for the laboratory
- GED or high school diploma preferred
- Solid foundation in quality control measuring and testing concepts (preferred)
- Knowledge of foam fabrication (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and business systems
