Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Expert to join our team on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the daily operation of molding machines and ensuring that they produce high-quality parts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain molding equipment, including training others in its operation and troubleshooting issues.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting parts and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Pull and set molds, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate PLCs to change robot setups and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct moisture content checks on materials and train others in this process.
  • Read and interpret small quality testing equipment, such as calipers and micrometers, and train others in their use.
  • Maintain molds, including cleaning and date stamping, and ensure they are in good working order.
  • Clean screws and perform basic molding machine maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot issues with molding machines and train others in these procedures.
  • Read blueprints and implement changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift certification.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic computer skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed, with 24 hours' notice.
