Perform preventative maintenance activities, and scheduled repairs.
Perform assigned responsibilities to support the safe and productive manufacture of quality product and to meet the goals of the company.SCHEDULE: Mon - Fri; Off Sat & SunSHIFT: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMCOMP: $30.70 - $32.28/hr.Essential Functions:
Safe & efficient operation of blow mold machines, trimmers, bagging and debagging equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as necessary. Responsible for coordinating shift production needs and reporting paperwork. All duties relating to product quality control. Oversee loading and unloading of bottles following FIFO standards. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Must be able to adapt to changing production schedules as necessary. Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision. Available for required overtime to support business needs and/or critical situations. Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Perform assigned duties following "Good Manufacturing Practices.” Actively participate in special teams representing the production department. Maintain a clean & safe work environment. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:
Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Serves as a backup for all other blow mold employees.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 3-5 yrs operating bottle manufacturing and related equipment Experience in the basic repair and preventative maintenance of blow mold equipment Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors. Basic math skills. Basic Computer skills Ability to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Multi-tasked individual.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move at a quick pace. Frequent Standing: Long periods (up to 8 hours).
Sitting: Rarely Walking: Frequent Bending, Twisting & Stretching: Frequent Lifting: Heavy (up to 50 lbs.): Occasional Climbing: Ladders to make adjustment and to clear jams. Occasional Pushing/Pulling: Dollies of bottles and bails or recycled plastic up to 50 lbs. Occasional Environment: Dry, temperature variations from 50 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Floors are dry.
