The Regional Operations Leader is dedicated to guiding and motivating our workforce, ensuring that both DIY and Commercial clients thrive, while simultaneously driving sales and profitability with ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or surpass overall sales and profitability objectives for the region.
- Foster customer loyalty and strengthen relationships within the market.
- Recruit, train, and develop General Managers and Core 4 team members, setting clear goals and managing performance.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels across all locations.
- Ensure adherence to inventory and operational standards throughout the region.
- Conduct regular site assessments, providing actionable plans to unlock full market potential.
- Educate on business fundamentals by reviewing financial statements with General Managers.
- Communicate effectively with store teams and support personnel.
- Promote diversity and cultivate a respectful atmosphere for customers and staff alike.

- Assist regional management with various tasks as needed.
Success Attributes
- In-depth knowledge of retail operations and procedures.
- ASE P2 certification or equivalent preferred.
- Proven ability to recruit, select, and nurture high-quality General Managers and Core 4 personnel.
- Strong skills in accountability, coaching, and providing constructive feedback.
- Capability to implement and instruct on all operational processes and customer service standards.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools for DIY services.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Essential Skills for Success as a Regional Operations Leader
- Familiarity with automotive systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus); able to communicate effectively and build robust relationships with customers, colleagues, and upper management.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and financial document interpretation.
- Ability to comprehend all business facets and excel in an integrated operational model.
- Problem-solving skills to collect data, establish facts, and resolve issues independently.
- Strategic thinking and change management capabilities.
- Effective delegation and project supervision skills to ensure timely and quality outcomes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as required.
Prior Experience for Success
- 3-5 years of experience leading a team of General Managers overseeing 10-30 team members in a dynamic retail environment.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and gross margin targets in a multi-unit setting.
- Proven experience in managing profitability with strong financial acumen.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver's license required.
- ASE certification preferred but not mandatory.
