Brandon Consulting Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing a large-scale data integration system that extracts, transforms, and loads data from external OLAP databases to our internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop SSIS packages and projects using Microsoft Visual Studio to ensure efficient data transfer and processing.
- Extract data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, flat files, and APIs, to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
- Develop and maintain database stored procedures and functions to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Contribute to the design of a data warehouse architecture that supports data storage, retrieval, and analysis, aligning with business objectives.
- Optimize query performance by creating indexes to ensure fast data retrieval and analysis.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to the supervisor to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) using SQL Server SSIS objects.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server programming, including views, stored procedures, and functions.
- 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) to support business intelligence and data analytics initiatives.
