We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department at Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. as a Manager and Senior Counsel - Legal Contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to work with our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the company's contracting strategy and contracts review team, ensuring compliance with risk and contract management policies.
  • Review and negotiate contractual relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, working collaboratively with General Counsel and other members of the corporate legal department.
  • Develop and manage internal standard form contracts for universal practice use and specialized circumstances.
  • Provide contract and risk allocation support to project teams, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Manage the contract review process, workflow, and contract lifecycle management system, ensuring efficient and effective contract management.
  • Work with General Counsel and other members of the legal department to offer legal support to the business and manage risk.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • Juris Doctor (required)
  • License to practice law (required)
  • At least 10 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house department with contract law experience, including the review, administration, and negotiation of contracts.
  • Experience building a team, recruiting, supervising, and mentoring others.
  • Responsibility for the strategic adoption and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the US Federal procurement requirements and consultant insurance program experience.
