Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team at Old Bridge Dental. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and addressing inquiries and phone calls.
  • Respond Promptly to Patient Questions and Concerns: Demonstrate responsiveness by addressing patient questions and concerns in alignment with DCA Policies.
  • Answer Telephones: Answer patient calls and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain Appointment Book: Keep accurate records of patient appointments and schedule changes.
  • Confirm Appointments: Confirm patient appointments and notify patients of any changes or cancellations.
  • Follow up on No-Shows/Cancellations: Follow up with patients who have missed or cancelled appointments.
  • Register Patients: Register patients on sign-in sheets and maintain accurate records.
  • Post Charges and Payments: Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
  • Check Voice-Mail: Check voice-mail on a daily basis and respond to patient messages.
  • Maintain a Clean and Friendly Waiting Area: Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area for patients.
Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Plans: Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills as a key attribute for success in this role.
