In collaboration with the Store Manager, this position is accountable for driving financial performance through exemplary store standards, effective execution of corporate strategies, and fostering positive customer interactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership:

  • Engages professionally with team members, customers, and business partners.
  • Cultivates a supportive work atmosphere for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assists in recruiting, interviewing, and developing a successful team alongside the Store Manager.
  • Provides constructive feedback on the performance and development of Sales Managers and Associates.
  • Utilizes company resources to train and develop the store team, ensuring all operational tasks are executed effectively.
  • Adapts management approaches to lead and nurture the team while setting measurable and achievable goals.
  • Recognizes and rewards outstanding performance to enhance employee engagement.

Performance Management:

  • Consistently promotes exceptional customer service by engaging talent and encouraging positive interactions.
  • Models customer service standards while coaching others to achieve success.
  • Analyzes business performance and implements necessary actions to enhance results.
  • Assists in managing labor and payroll expenses to optimize sales and productivity.
  • Leads and executes specific areas of responsibility through meticulous planning and follow-through.
  • Serves as Leader on Duty, driving results and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Effectively manages payroll and supports scheduling to maximize sales and productivity.

Operational Excellence:

  • Supports the management team in Asset Protection through consistent customer service and operational controls.
  • Facilitates the planning and execution of store processes and merchandise placement in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Builds customer loyalty through company-sponsored initiatives.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, and organized store environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Monitors compliance with safety regulations and policies as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Strong customer engagement skills.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, team members, and supervisors.
  • Able to foster teamwork and build strong relationships.
  • Capability to lead, direct, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

AVAILABILITY

Regular work frequency is essential to maintain active employment status. Changes in availability must be approved by the Store Manager based on business needs. Shifts typically range from seven to eight hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
