Hardlines Department Manager

We are seeking a skilled Hardlines Lead to oversee the hardlines department at Channel Control Merchants. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the department, maintaining shopability, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the hardlines department is properly organized and visually appealing by following merchandising and display standards.
* Maintain the department's inventory, including stock replenishment, organization, and cleanliness.
* Train, mentor, and coach associates on product knowledge, merchandising, and customer service skills.
* Collaborate with the store management team to execute sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and special events to drive traffic and increase sales in the hardlines department.
* Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, safety, and security within the department.
Requirements:
* Previous hardlines experience in a retail environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for extended hours, up to entire shift.
* Frequently lift items over 50 pounds.
* Background check required.
Salary:
$12.00 per hour
