Role Summary:

The Program Manager for the Mobile Museums of Tolerance (MMOT) in New York will collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Education to enhance the effectiveness and outreach of the MMOT initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is an educational leader with a deep commitment to human rights, diversity, and Holocaust education. Your management and operational expertise will be crucial in overseeing the implementation of educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of MMOT programs in New York.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all documentation related to grant reporting.
  • Maintain the Master Calendar for program scheduling.
  • Uphold high standards of quality control for all educational offerings.
  • Provide support and substitute as necessary during program delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between program participants and educational staff.
  • Guide Coordinators and Education Associates to ensure timely and accurate work.
  • Contribute to the creation of new educational programs.
  • Conduct follow-up activities, including program evaluations and ongoing communication.
  • Engage with educational institutions and organizations to promote participation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Education.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in curriculum and program development for K-12 education.
  • Experience in creating and delivering thematic lesson plans.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly learning new software.
  • Reside in the New York area.
