About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgeries as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
  • Experience in surgical care and patient assessment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
