Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic and technical level of general nursing care to patients in a variety of correctional health care settings.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients.
- Provide technical patient care under valid authorization by a provider's order and the delegation and clinical direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Support the care team for daily health care operations and communicate effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team.
- Address the ongoing needs of patients, work with physicians and other healthcare providers, and promote the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of healthcare resources.
- Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and provide high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
