Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a correctional health care setting. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering basic and technical nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure timely and appropriate healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic and technical nursing care to patients in a correctional health care setting
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure timely and appropriate healthcare delivery
- Communicate effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team
- Support the care team for daily health care operations
- Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Effective communication skills
