About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team at HealthPoint (Washington). As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and equipment maintenance in our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments to the highest standards
  • Maintain tray set-ups and ensure instruments are stored in designated areas
  • Clean and maintain sterilization equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations
  • Conduct biological testing on equipment and maintain records of testing, repair, and maintenance
  • Maintain dental supply inventory and assist dental assistants with cleaning and preparing dental operatories for patient care
  • Work closely with dental assistants to ensure efficient workflows and perform chair-side dental assisting duties as assigned
  • Remain current on WISHA/OSHA guidelines pertinent to sterilization and update sterilization policies and procedures as necessary
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current registration/licensure in Washington State as a Dental Assistant
  • Beginning level of Outlook required
  • Proficiency with EHR systems (NextGen) is a plus, as HealthPoint is implementing a new EHR (Epic) in 2024
