Job Title: Workers' Compensation Attorney

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis.

About the Role:
  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and provide legal advice.
  • Prepare legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts, and legal memoranda.
  • Represent clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, as well as potential risks and outcomes.
  • Negotiate settlements in civil disputes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and legal trends.
  • Ensure all legal activities adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
Requirements:
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney in a law firm.
  • Proven experience in conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to handle adversarial situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with legal software and advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
