Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team in Newport, OR. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and processing them for laboratory testing. This is a contract role with a duration of 3+ months, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Process blood samples for laboratory testing, including centrifugation and labeling.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of blood samples to the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to ensure smooth operation of laboratory services.

Requirements:
  • Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification.
  • Training in an approved Phlebotomy Training Program or one year of recent phlebotomy experience.
  • Phlebotomist Certification preferred.
