Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Support: Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling, and verification of patient insurance eligibility.
- Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure that patient records are accurate, complete, and confidential, and comply with agency policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of working experience required; some college education with 1 year of working experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in common office software (Word, Excel) and ability to enter data accurately required.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to sit in front of a computer for long periods.
- Language Skills: Ability to speak Spanish language preferred.
- Knowledge and Experience: Experience working with people living with HIV/AIDS preferred; knowledge of eClinicalWorks EMR preferred.
