Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team at Bruckner Truck & Equipment. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other failures of trucks and trailers
  • Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of truck engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Use precision instruments and shop machines to complete repairs
  • Read and understand technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins
  • Order parts and complete work accurately and timely
  • Write detailed descriptions of work performed using our dealer management system
Requirements
  • High School Diploma desired
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Ability to read and write in English and understand computer-generated reports
  • Ability to operate various computer diagnostic devices, PCs, and laptops
