Job Summary

Cleveland Compaction, Pittsburgh Compaction, A&L Compaction Equipment, Detroit Compaction, Cincinnati Compaction, and Columbus Compaction are leaders in installing, servicing, and rebuilding industrial compaction equipment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL technician to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance on customer-owned compactors and balers at customer locations and our local branch.
  • Meet or exceed corporate financial, growth, and utilization objectives.
  • Maintain professional appearance and interaction with customers, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Analyze work orders, coordinate daily travel schedule with Customer Service Manager, maintain service truck and inventory, investigate issues, conduct tests, and resolve problems.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance to all corporate and customer policies, including OSHA, ANSI, and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Document service and installation actions by completing timely and detailed service reports, track and record certain pricing detail, and have the ability to quote and sell new orders of business.
  • Be able to work with a flexible work schedule.
  • Be able to work in a teaming environment by continuously improving, learning, and information sharing across the organization.
  • Be on-call 1 week per month with additional bonus pay while on-call.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant driving record and adherence to all motor vehicle safety laws.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of technical or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to use corporate mobile devices and applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Class A CDL a plus but not required.
