At SCI Summit Consulting, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in our company's success by analyzing and evaluating risks, developing and implementing underwriting strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and evaluate risks to determine the likelihood of loss and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in our underwriting decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients by responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on our products and services.
- Collaborate with our sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth and revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in underwriting and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in underwriting and risk management, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
