IT Support Technician Job Description

Shock I.T. Support is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with our team to deliver top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and professional technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including hardware and software problems.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field.
  • Document and record all work performed for our clients.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 7, 10, and 11.
  • Experience with Cisco switches and firewalls, as well as iOS and Android mobile platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot error messages, apply patches or upgrades, and offer general support of Windows desktops and networks.
  • IT certification is a plus.
